It's easier to find Fatima Moreira De Melo sexy pictures than her photo in hockey's jersey. That's due to the fact that this Dutch field hockey player is truly beautiful. But that doesn't mean that she's suck as an athlete. In the contrary, Fatime Moreira can be categorized as a sport legend, at least in her country.
Born 4 July 1978 in Rotterdam, Holland, Fatima Moreira de Melo played 191 international match for the Dutch field hockey national team. Playing as a striker, she has scored 30 times for her team. She was part of the Dutch squad that became World Champion at the 2006 Women's Hockey World Cup and also won the 2007 Champions Trophy. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing she won an olympic gold medal with the Dutch national team beating China in the final 2-0.
Although hockey is probably the field team sport with the third largest number of participants worldwide (below football and cricket), the fans of this sport are quite few. It's not a large spectator sport and few players play as full-time professionals.
