The American Female Skier Legend, Lindsey Vonn, was in controversy

Lindsey Vonn, 2010 Winter Olympic downhill champion

It is more like a confusing controversy for me, when some people have a problem with this early February cover of Sports Illustrated. At that first week of the month, Sports Illustrated had Lindsey Vonn, the greatest alpine American skier, posed for its cover with a complete skier's clothes.

When I read the title of the article , I looked the controversy posed directly and really couldn't find the picture even it was in front of me, it was not because I didn't see it but I really didn't think that picture is the controversy cover one. I agree that Lindsay wore a little tight one, but it seemed ridiculous if some people considered the cover as a sexually provocative pose whether for the children or the adult. Just see the picture below.

Lindsey Vonn's Sport Illustrated controversy cover

Compared with the controversy, I prefer to talk about her achievement in ski than her controversy cover on Sports Illustrated. There's no doubt to call Lindsey as the American Female Skier Legend if you know what she had reach in the sport which make her popular.

Born as Lindsey Caroline Kildow in saint Paul, Minnesota, her father, Alan Kidlow who is a national junior skiing champion before a knee injury at 18, pushed her very hard to become a ski top athlete. Her successful was begin when she became the first American female who win at Italy's Trofeo Topolino (for skiers of ages 11-14) and made her World Cup debut on November 18, 2000 in Park City at 16.

Even some people have an overactive imagination with her pose on Sports Illustrated Cover, we don't have a doubt to put her name in our Sport Legend List and named Lindsey Vonn as the American Female skier legend.
