Inter Milan Won 2010 European Champions League

History repeated itself. After 45 years of waiting, Internazionale Milan won another European Champions League title after beat Bayern Muenchen in the final (May 22, 2010) in Madrid. This made Jose Mourinho's team following the footstep of the legendary Helenio Herrera's La Grande Inter which last time won this title back in 1965.



Controlling most of the ball possession, Bayern Muenchen failed to create much opportunity to threaten Inter Milan goalie. By fast and sharp counterattack, the Argentinian Diego Milito scored twice in the 35th and 70th minute of the game.


After the match, the German side represented by their coach Louis Van Gaal admitted that the Italian played more effective football than his team.

While for Inter Milan, this is their third title of this season, after won the Italian Serie A League and Copa Italia. Rumored that their most successful coach in three decades, Jose Mourinho, will leaving this team next season because he dislikes of how the Italian medias treated him.
